축구나 하키와 같은 스포츠에서 주로 골을 막는 역할을 하는 선수들.

일상적인 대화나 스포츠 현장에서 주로 쓰이며, 공식적으론 '골키퍼'나 '골텐더'가 더 흔하다. 미식축구에서는 사용되지 않는다.
