Definition

突然自分の感情を抑えられず、怒ったり取り乱したりすること。予想外の出来事に強く反応したときによく使われる表現。

カジュアルな会話で使われ、フォーマルな場面では避けましょう。「キレる」は若者にもよく使われます。「取り乱す」は怒りだけでなく強い感情全般に使えます。

He went off the deep end when he saw the mess in the kitchen.
