從較高的地方到較低的地方，或去特定的地方，通常指向下或向南的方向。

可以當作實際“下去”或是去某地，尤其是地理上較低或比較南的地區（英式英語常用）。多用於口語，不適合正式場合。“go down to”後常接地點。
