Definition
Intentar atrapar, perseguir o conseguir algo o a alguien, ya sea de manera literal (perseguir físicamente) o figurada (buscar una oportunidad, meta o persona).
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Generalmente informal. Puede ser literal ('go after the thief') o figurado ('go after your goals'). Se usa mucho al hablar de perseguir oportunidades o personas con esfuerzo. No confundir con 'go for', que solo implica intentar.
