渡る横断する

Definition

道路や川、部屋などの一方からもう一方へ移動すること。障害物や境界を越えて進む意味です。

物理的に道や川などを横切る動作で使います。「go through」（中を通る）や「go over」（上を通る・見直す）とは違います。'go across the street', 'go across the bridge' のように使います。

You must go across the street at the crosswalk.

横断歩道で道を**渡って**ください。

Let's go across the river by boat.

船で川を**渡ろう**。
