Definition

कोमल या हल्की रोशनी में चमकना। कभी-कभी किसी की आँखों या चेहरे पर भावनाओं की झलक भी दिखा सकता है, जैसे आशा या खुशी।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर नरम चमक या आँखों में भावना को दर्शाने के लिए प्रयुक्त। 'shine' की तुलना में अधिक साहित्यिक और औपचारिक। 'आँखों में चमक', 'चाँद चमकता है' में सामान्य है।
