Definition

終於去做一直想做、但因為忙碌或拖延而遲遲未做的事。

是非正式口語，常接動名詞（doing）。表示一再拖延但終於做的事，不用於臨時決定。

I never get around to cleaning my room.

我一直沒**抽空做**房間打掃。

She finally got around to calling her friend.

她終於**抽空**打電話給她的朋友了。

When will you get around to reading that book?
