تعبير غير رسمي يُستخدم غالباً مع 'idea' أو 'message'. الصيغة الشائعة: 'get [شيء] across to [شخص]'. لا يشير للحركة الجسدية بل لتوضيح فكرة وجعلها مفهومة.
