বাংলায় সাধারণত 'গঙ্গা' বলা হয় এবং নদী বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। প্রতীকী অর্থেও ব্যবহৃত হতে পারে, শহর বা অন্য কিছু নয়।
