액체, 돈, 사람 등을 좁은 통로나 특정한 경로로 의도적으로 이동시키거나 보내는 것.

주로 공식적이거나 반공식적으로 쓰이며 'funneled funds'처럼 돈, 정보, 사람의 이동에 사용. 비밀스럽거나 부정적인 의미로도 사용될 수 있음. 실제 깔때기를 쓰는 물리적 행위가 아니면 일상적 상황에는 거의 쓰이지 않음.
