Definition

খাদ্য শৃঙ্খল হল একটি ধারাবাহিক প্রাণী ও উদ্ভিদের সম্পর্ক, যেখানে প্রতিটি একে অপরকে খেয়ে শক্তি ও পুষ্টি পায়। এটি প্রকৃতিতে শক্তি ও উপাদানের প্রবাহ দেখায়।

বায়োলজি ও পরিবেশবিজ্ঞান বিষয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'food chain-এর শীর্ষে থাকা' বা 'food chain-এ ব্যাঘাত ঘটানো' ধরনের বাক্যে দেখা যায়। রেস্টুরেন্ট বা রান্নাবান্নার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
