相手が望まないものを無理やり押し付けること。しばしばこっそりや不正直に行われる。

通常は否定的・非公式な文脈で使われます。不要なものを無理に受けさせる批判的表現です。'Foist upon' も同意。より中立な 'impose on' と区別してください。
