フレーク小片

Definition

何かから剥がれ落ちた小さくて薄い平たいかけら。雪のフレークやシリアルのフレーク、乾燥した皮膚などに使います。

主に食品（例：コーンフレーク）、雪や乾燥した皮膚のかけらに使われます。シリアルでは常に複数形です。「crumbs」や「chips」とは異なり、薄くて平たい形状が特徴です。

There are flakes of snow on the ground.
