어떤 것에 주의를 집중하거나 여러 가지 선택지를 고려한 후 최종 결정을 내리는 것.

'fix on'은 다소 격식적/문학적 표현. 결정('fix on a date')이나 집중('fix on an object')에 자주 사용. 'fix'(수리하다)와 다름. 'fix one's eyes/gaze on' 형태로 많이 나옴.
