Los fuegos artificiales son objetos que explotan o arden en el cielo con colores brillantes y ruidos fuertes, normalmente durante celebraciones o eventos especiales.

Casi siempre en plural ('fuegos artificiales'), muy raro en singular. Común con 'ver fuegos artificiales', 'tirar fuegos artificiales'. Se usan en celebraciones: Año Nuevo, bodas. Figurativamente puede expresar emociones intensas: 'hubo fuegos artificiales en la discusión'.
