무언가를 마지막까지 다 끝내거나, 상대를 완전히 무찌르거나 없애는 것.

비공식, 일상 표현이다. 'finish off a meal'은 다 먹다, 'finish off an opponent'는 상대를 완전히 이기거나 처리하는 의미로 쓴다.
