어려운 일이나 하고 싶지 않은 일을 할 수 있는 용기나 마음을 마음속에서 찾는 것.

주로 부정적으로 '마음을 못 먹겠다', '용기를 못 내겠다'와 같이 사용. 동사구가 뒤따름. 감정적 결단이나 용기를 나타냄.
