"Fiddled" es informal. Puede referirse a manipular objetos nerviosamente ('fiddled with his keys') o alterar datos/cifras de manera deshonesta ('fiddled the accounts'). No confundir con tocar el violín ('played the fiddle'). Frases comunes: 'fiddled with', 'fiddled the numbers'.
