लोगों या चीजों को नाव, फेरी या किसी वाहन से एक जगह से दूसरी जगह विशेष रूप से बार-बार लाना-ले जाना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अधिकतर पानी के पार लाने-ले जाने के लिए प्रयोग होता है। यह 'ferry' का भूतकाल है। 'ferried across', 'ferried people', 'ferried supplies' जैसे संयोजन मिलते हैं। 'take' या 'carry' से थोड़ा औपचारिक है।
