Definition

किसी चीज़ को बहुत आनंद से बड़ी मात्रा में खाना, खासकर किसी विशेष भोजन या उत्सव में। यह भावनात्मक रूप से किसी चीज़ का ज़बरदस्त आनंद लेने के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

थोड़ा औपचारिक या साहित्यिक अभिव्यक्ति; अक्सर 'on' के बाद खाने की चीज़ ('feast on turkey') के साथ प्रयोग होता है। भाव में भी कहा जा सकता है ('feast on the view')। यह आम खाने के लिए नहीं है।
