ファックス機や電子ファックスサービスを使って書類のコピーを送ること。主にメール普及前によく使われていました。

今ではビジネスや公式な場面以外ではあまり使われません。通常「送る」意味で使われ、'faxing a document'は書類を送る意味です。スキャンやメール送信とは違うので注意しましょう。
