قبول مواجهة شيء صعب أو غير سار مباشرةً، دون الهروب منه.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

عبارة 'face up to' غير رسمية وتُستخدم عادةً مع مشكلات أو مسؤوليات يرغب الناس في تجنبها. شائعة مع 'the truth'، 'your fears'، 'reality'. لا تخلطها مع 'face' التي تعني فقط النظر أو مواجهة شيء دون عمق.
