একটি বড়, খোলা বা প্রসারিত এলাকা, যা সাধারণত অনেক দূর পর্যন্ত বিস্তৃত থাকে, যেমন স্থলভাগ, জল বা আকাশ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'বিস্তৃত এলাকা' সাধারণত সাহিত্যিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'এক বিস্তৃত সাগর'। ছোট জায়গার জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না, 'expansion' শব্দটির সাথে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
