消す

Definition

文字や印、情報を見えなくなるように取り除くこと。鉛筆の跡やパソコンのファイル、記憶にも使われる。

「消す」は書いたものやデータ、または記憶に使える。『erase a mistake』は間違いを消す、『erase data』はデータ削除に使う。「delete」は主にパソコン用語。

She erases her mistakes with an eraser.
