誰かに必要な道具やスキルを与えて、何かをできるようにすること。主に組織や教育、ツールの支給について使われます。

フォーマルもしくは中立的な表現で、組織や教育、ツールを提供する場合によく使われます。'equip someone with'のような形で後ろに「〜を備える」と続くことが多いです。「equipments」は使わず、「equipment」が正しいです。

The teacher equips students with the skills they need.
