आम तौर पर 'entrust (something) to/with (someone)' संरचना में उपयोग होता है। औपचारिक शब्द है; खासकर जब कोई ज़रूरी या संवेदनशील जिम्मेदारी दी जाए। उदाहरण: 'entrust someone with a secret', 'with responsibility'।
