'Ensure' أكثر رسمية من 'make sure' ويستخدم غالبًا في الأعمال الرسمية أو الرسمية. غالبًا ما يأتي بعدها 'that': 'ensure that...'. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'insure' (تأمين) أو 'assure' (طمأنة عاطفية).
