何かについて情報を求めて質問すること。主に丁寧または公式な場面で使われます。

主にビジネスやフォーマルな場面で使われます。英英では‘enquire’、米英では‘inquire’がよく使われます。‘enquire about’や‘enquire into’などの形も多いです。カジュアルな場面では‘ask’が一般的。
