用線縫製圖案來裝飾布料；也指給故事添加一些（常常誇張或不真實的）細節。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
“Embroider” 既指刺繡，也比喻講故事時添油加醋。常配合 “story”、“tale”、“truth”等。比 'exaggerate' 的誇大程度輕，有修飾、潤色之意。
