الأناني هو الشخص الذي يتحدث ويفكر كثيرًا عن نفسه ويعتقد أنه أهم من الآخرين.

"أناني" هنا تعني شخص يبالغ في الحديث عن نفسه، وهو مصطلح رسمي/ناقد. يختلف عن "محب لنفسه" (من يهتم بمصلحته فقط)، ويستعمل لوصف من يتفاخر كثراً.
