Definition

朝早く起きたり行動を始めたりする人、または予定より早く来る人のこと。

カジュアルで肯定的な表現。「The early bird catches the worm（早起きは三文の徳）」のようなフレーズで使われることが多いです。夜型の人には使いません。早起きや早めに来る人両方に使います。

My father is an early bird and wakes up before sunrise.
