'dustman' ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में सामान्य शब्द है; अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी में 'garbage man' या 'trash collector' कहते हैं। नया शब्द 'waste collector' भी मिलता है। वर्ग के लिए 'the dustmen' भी सुनाई देता है।
