Definition

डुप्लेक्स ऐसा भवन है जिसमें दो अलग-अलग घर होते हैं, आमतौर पर एक दीवार या मंजिल साझा होती है, या वह अपार्टमेंट जिसमें सीढ़ियों से जुड़े दो स्तर हों।

‘Duplex’ अंग्रेज़ी में आमतौर पर दो घर या दो मंज़िला अपार्टमेंट के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। इसे 'apartment' (एक मंज़िल) या 'townhouse' (एक ही घर, कई मंज़िलें) से न मिलाएँ।
