Definition

डम्बवेटर एक छोटी सी लिफ्ट है जो भोजन, बर्तन या छोटे सामान को इमारत की अलग-अलग मंजिलों के बीच ले जाने के लिए इस्तेमाल होती है, खासकर रेस्तरां या बड़े घरों में।

"डम्बवेटर" औपचारिक/तकनीकी शब्द है, मुख्यतः होटल या बड़े घरों में मिलता है। 'वेटर' (सेवक) से न मिलाएं। कभी-कभी यह छुपने या गुप्त रास्ते के लिए भी दिखता है।
