主に薬局で薬を調合し販売する人のこと。かつて使われた言い方で、現在はあまり使われません。

「druggist」は歴史的な文脈や古い映画、小説で見られます。現代の日常会話では「pharmacist（薬剤師）」が一般的です。違法薬物の売人には使われません。
