Definition
‘Draught’, kapalı alanda oluşan soğuk hava akımı, fıçıdan çekilen bira veya bir içeceği bir yudum içmek anlamına gelir. İngiliz İngilizcesinde yaygındır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
‘Draught’ İngiliz İngilizcesine özgüdür; Amerikan İngilizcesinde ‘draft’ tercih edilir. ‘draught beer’ (fıçı bira) pub’da şişe değil, musluktan verilen anlamındadır.
