Definition

ঘরে জানালা ঢাকতে বা সাজানোর জন্য ব্যবহৃত সাংঘাতিক ভারী ও সুন্দর ফ্যাব্রিকের পর্দা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘Curtain’ অপেক্ষা ‘ঝালর পর্দা’ আরও সাজানো ও ভারী হয়, ঘর সাজানোর ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত। ‘drapes’ কথাটিও একই অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয়। গোসলঘরের বা গাড়ির পর্দার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
