家庭や家の中に関すること、または外国と比べて自国のことを指します。

やや硬い語で、公式文書やニュースでよく使われる。家庭の作業なら「家事」と言うほうが自然。「domestic flight」は「国内線」。使う場面により真面目な印象が強い。

This airline only has domestic flights.

この航空会社は**国内の**便しかありません。
