Definition

アームがないか片側だけにアームがある、背の低い長椅子で、壁際に配置されることが多く、ベッドとしても使われることがある家具です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「ディヴァン」は文学的やフォーマルな場面で使われることが多いです。通常のソファよりも低くて、肘掛けがないものが多く、ベッドとしても使用されます。「オットマン」（足置き）とは異なります。
