Definition

何かを複数の人や場所に分けて渡したり、配ったりすること。

フォーマルやニュートラルな文脈で使われやすい。'company'や'charity'などと一緒に、'to'や'among'とセットで使うことが多い。'deliver'（届ける）とは違うので注意。

The teacher distributes the books to the students.
