论文是关于特定主题的长篇正式写作，尤其是在大学研究生或博士学习期间完成的。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Simplified))
通常用于学术环境，主要指硕士或博士期间的长篇论文。不要和“essay”（短文）混淆。在美国，dissertation 多指博士论文，thesis 多指硕士论文。属于正式、学术用语。
