आम तौर पर औपचारिक या अर्ध-औपचारिक भाषा में व्यवहार की आलोचना में प्रयुक्त। अक्सर 'speak', 'act', 'reply' जैसे क्रियाओं के साथ आता है। चीजों के लिए नहीं (वहां 'disrespectful' adjective होता है)। अक्सर जानबूझकर की गई असम्मानजनक हरकत को दर्शाता है।
