কারও সঙ্গে কোনো বিষয় নিয়ে বিস্তারিতভাবে ও মনোযোগের সাথে কথা বলে, যাতে মতামত বিনিময় বা সিদ্ধান্তে আসা যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

‘আলোচনা করে’ সাধারণত আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'discusses the issue', 'discusses the plan'-এর মতো গঠন সচরাচর। 'about' সাধারণত যোগ হয় না; 'discuss the problem' বলুন, 'discuss about the problem' নয়।
