Definition

平たくて薄い円形のもの。音楽やデータの記録媒体（CDやDVD）、身体の一部（椎間板）、円盤状の物体全般に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

音楽やデータ保存の場合は「ディスク」、椎間板は同じく「ディスク」といいます。「ディスクジョッキー」もこの言葉です。「slipped disc」は椎間板ヘルニアにあたります。
