何かを本当だと思わない、または本当だと受け入れないこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「disbelieve」は文語的であまり日常会話では使われません。「not believe」よりも強い否定や懐疑のニュアンスがあります。「話」や「証言」などに使われますが、「彼を信じない」と人についてはあまり使いません。
