アレなんとかポンコツ（人の場合）

Definition

物の名前が分からない時や忘れた時に使うスラング。たまに人を冗談っぽく言う時にも使う。

とてもカジュアルで冗談っぽい表現なので、正式な場では使わない。『thingamajig』や『whatchamacallit』と似た使い方。人に使うと少しおちゃめな響きがある。

Can you pass me that dingus on the table?

そのテーブルの上の**アレ**取ってくれる？

I used a dingus to fix the door.

ドアを直すのに**なんとか**使ったよ。

Where did you put that little dingus I gave you?

あげたあの小さな**アレ**どこに置いたの？
