একটি ভবন বা স্থাপনা পুরোপুরি ভেঙে ফেলা বা ধ্বংস করা। কথায় কথায়, কিছু সম্পূর্ণভাবে হারানো বা দুরমুশ করা বোঝাতেও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

বড় স্থাপনা বা বাড়ি নিয়ে বলতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়; অফিশিয়াল এবং দৈনন্দিন কথায় শোনা যায়। 'demolishing an argument'-এর মতো রূপক অর্থেও ব্যবহার হয়।
