যখন কোনো স্থানকে 'অসামরিককৃত' বলা হয়, তার মানে সেখানে কোনো সামরিক বাহিনী বা সরঞ্জাম রাখা যায় না।

'অসামরিককৃত' সাধারণত সীমান্ত, অঞ্চল বা বিশেষ স্থানে ব্যবহৃত হয়। এটি মানুষের জন্য ব্যবহার হয় না; অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে ভূখণ্ড বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
