Definition

벌점은 학교나 조직에서 실수나 잘못된 행동에 대해 부여되는 마이너스 점수입니다. 또한 어떤 것의 단점이나 결점이라는 의미로도 사용됩니다.

주로 학교나 군대에서 잘못된 행동에 대해 '벌점'을 받거나 줄 때 사용합니다. 일반적으로 단점(예: the demerits of a plan) 의미로도 쓰입니다. 'merit'(장점)과 구분해서 사용하세요.
