자연물이나 인공 구조물로 적의 직접 사격이나 관찰로부터 보호되는 군사 위치를 의미합니다.

주로 군사·방위 분야에서 쓰이며 일상 대화에선 거의 사용되지 않습니다. 'defilade 위치' 등으로 사용됩니다.
